From one plate to every batch
The fussy eater
Pablo turned his nose up at every "premium" bag and tin we bought him. We read every label and kept finding long lists of ingredients we couldn't pronounce.
The first plate
So Massy cooked for him instead: five chicken feet from the butcher with some pumpkin and carrot, simmered on the stove. Pablo stood on his back legs waiting for that plate to cool.
The kitchen today
That plate became a kitchen full of slow-dried treats. Massy still makes every batch by hand in her Sydney kitchen, and Pablo still tastes every one before it reaches you.

What we always do
- Use human-grade meat from Australian suppliers
- Add only whole foods you'd find in your own kitchen
- Slow-dry at low temperature, never extrude
- Make small batches, each with its own batch number

Massy, Pablo and a kitchen in Sydney
Canivoro was co-founded in Sydney by Massy and Victor. It's still a small family business: when you order, you're buying from the person who makes your treats, and the dog who tests them.

Jack Russell, beach regular and still very particular. Every batch needs his approval before it leaves the kitchen, and he takes the job very seriously.
